FRS Securities, LLC, a broker/dealer in Silver Spring and Baltimore, Maryland, is currently recruiting a Fixed Income Trader to service our institutional clients.

Position Description:

• Execution of fixed income trades and reporting for the Investments Division of FRS Securities.
• Work with FRS brokerage relationships to achieve best execution for client accounts.
• Assist with all presentations, compliance reporting, and communications.
• Follows risk management methodologies to assess changes in portfolio debt investment risk on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuter's and Thomson trading systems.
• Completion of special project work when assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Successful progress toward Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or MBA is a plus
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Working knowledge of fixed income trading systems
• Strong conflict management & problem solving skills
• Service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
• MS Office/Internet savvy
• FINRA registered
